I feel like I just got a great, big 'ol popsicle!

That great, big ol' popsicle being another blog award! :D

Two of my favorite bloggers, dinagideon of My Superfluities and Summerilla of Sum Sunshine, both were sweet to think of me and give me the Kreativ Blogger Award. I am truly humbled yet delighted to receive and accept it what with my delinquent blogging. Thanks, dinagideon and Summerilla! You two are such sweethearts! :)

Here are the instructions:
1) Thanking the person who gave this to me!
2) Copy the Logo and place it your blog.
3) Link the person who nominated you.
4) Name 7 things about yourself that no one would really know. (Hmm, this could be a lot of fun...)
5) Nominate 7 Kreativ Bloggers.
6) Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.
7) Leave a comment on each of the blogs letting them know you nominated them.

Alrighty, here are my 7 things:

1) I was born during the Martial Law in Manila, Philippines. When my mom started to get contractions, it was after sunset, and there was no one allowed outsdie, so no cars, taxis, any public transportation. So, my mom and dad had to walk to the hospital. They were, of course, stopped by the police, and when they found out that I was about to come out, they drove my mom and dad to the hospital, and out I came! :)

2) I have earned 33 units in my Master's Degree in Communications, majoring in Education and Boradcasting. I only need(ed) 2 more units to actually get my degree. (Yeah, yeah, why don't I finish it and all that. It's been *ahem* years...isn't there a statute of limitations on education?)

3) My favorite season is Spring, what with being my birthday falling right smack in the middle of it and the beautiful colors and blossoms, but having moved here to the Mid-Atlantic, I've developed awful allergies during Spring. Boo. I love Autumn too (I like calling it Autumn instead of Fall, but that's a whole other number.), but there's something about Spring being so symbolic of all things new and fresh, like another lease on life. :)

4) The sound of the Metro before the doors close and open still stresses me to no end. This might stem from the brief time I had to take the Metro into and out of DC for work every day. I heard a friend's phone with this tone, and I swear, my heartbeat sped up significantly.

5) Whenever I see a crooked picture, I have to go and fix it, no matter where I am.

6) Rain comforts me. Except when I'm driving in it. Actually, it still does, but if I'm driving in it during rush hour on the highway, maybe not so much. There's just something about listening to the raindrops hitting the roof or the window that's just so rhythmically soothing. And the smell of the grass and earth just after a fresh rainfall...

7) I have no respect and very much dislike people who are in power who will get mad and blame other people when it's clearly their own effin' fault. (Sorry, I am currently at the office, and I couldn't help but sneak this little factoid in.) Grrrr....

As for tagging other bloggers, I would like to tag:
1) Ashley, LOVE it.
2) Chloe, English Tea

  1. That's an aggressive message to hear each time the doors open & close, plus the dingdongdingdong? No thanks.

Girl, get your 2 units. A couple years ago I had 11 units to complete for my B.A. You only have 2 for a Masters! DO IT!
