I have just chanced upon the most wonderful news!
It seems I'm not the only one who's loving the local-burger-done-good
over that-one-everybody-says-is-the-best-burger-in-the-world.
Even Zagat has declared the local Five Guys burger better than the West Coast-based In-'n'-Out burger!

ReplyDeleteDid you know their original store was ONE BLOCK from where I grew up (where my dad still lives)? And get this--dumb-sh$$ owner of the complex made their lives difficult while they were there and so Five Guys moved on out. I bet the owner is a little beyond pi$$ed at his stupidity now. LOL.
You can visit another early store near where we live now in the Skyline section of Alexandria, over near Beauregard St and Rt. 7. In fact, when my doc gives me the go ahead to eat real food again, what say you and me and the kiddies head on down? Mmm, Five Guys.
And to prove my total fanaticism, BOTH kids had Five Guys french fries as their first real food. Yeah, weird, but so very tasty.
