This past weekend, a few friends and I drove up to Whitetail Resort in Mercersburg, VA
to celebrate a very good friend's birthday.
And yes, we were aware of the pending snowstorm in our area.

These were the girls who got their faces burned,their bodies bruised (there was tumbling and falling off tubes, believe me!)
but their hearts gladened with friends' company, laughter and love!

ReplyDeleteYes, it was so much fun! Two of the ladies actually suffered a very bad tumble on the way down (we all went down the hill together, but only two of us made it all the way down to the end!), but all was well - no one was badly hurt. Maybe just egos, but we were all laughing the second we all stood up from that slide down!
Maybe a similar outing for the DC JCAs? ;)

ReplyDelete@HeidiG: I am certain that M&E would loooove it! We were actually joined on the hill by a bunch of kids who looked like they were on a school trip, and they were having a ball!
