And I've come across an alternative to J.Crew's Tiered Brique Skirt ($128).
If you pop on over to ModCloth, you'll find BB Dakota's Heavy Petal Skirt ($64.99).
Rather than silk chiffon, though, the petals on BB Dakota's skirt is made of polyester
(hence, the less expensive price tag) but is also "dry clean only".

ReplyDeleteVery similar. I'm so back and forth with this skirt. I love it but I don't know how much I'd wear it to even warrant the lower price version. If it had been longer and I could definitely wear it to work I'd buy it but I think it's weekend wear only.
ReplyDeleteI honestly like the ModCloth skirt better, I saw the JCrew skirt on Monday during an quick outing to the mall, but I was not loving the petals. Thanks for this info.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for tthe shout out! I do love the ModCloth version, but hate artificial fabrics. That's one hting to appreciate about J Crew and Banana- they limit their use of polyester.
