Drewablank in real life. - Part 1

I've always been a fan of IRL photos,
especially when it comes to reviews of clothing.
I mean, since when do clothes ever look like they do in the catalog or online?
Hardly ever.

But when it comes to MY own IRL photos...far and very few between. :p
However I do understand that it does help us ladies decide wisely,
so here goes my own attempt at IRL photos. :)

First up, the Solid Lieutenant Jacket from J.Crew.

This was the original outfit -
the Solid Lieutenant Jacket (now $59.99, in Black)
and the Luka dress, which never made it online,
modeled fabulously in IRL by Fabulous Florida Mommy.

The same outfit that I had tried on during an excursion to a B&M.

I added the Crystal Web Necklace (now $29.99) for a little more glam. ;)

Now onto the belted versions!

This was (elastic) belt I had bought at Forever 21 back in the day
when I needed to punch an outfit up for a work reception I had to attend.

The above belt was a purchase from Target that has little studs on the border
- from the clearance rack, if I recall.
I changed necklaces to this one from Nordstrom.

And here it is with the belt inside the jacket.

There was another option to wear a suiting jacket (in Navy) with the dress as well.
I totally forgot to take photos. :p

I've rolled up the sleeves on the jacket for all the photos,
but you can totally change it up and wear them longer, especially when it gets cool.

As for shoes, I would probably wear heels for a bit more glam and sophistication.
But to keep it from going too glam,
a nice pair of sandals or flats would work too.
