Maybe it's my love for everything autumn,
or maybe it's my love for everything scholarly,
but I have been recently obsessed with oxford shoes
(or shoes that have an slight resemblance to an oxford).
I have already procured myself this neat pair from Aldo shoes.
I can't wait to wear them come autumn!
(They're called "Santilukka" and are on clearance online for $20.99!)

I'd maybe wear them with this dress (if I had it).
Mmmm...so vintage-y delicious!
As you see, these pair have a high heel to them. I'd also like to get a pair (or two!...I know, I know...) of regular flat oxfords. Here are few that I have my eye on.

Sam Edelman Simona Oxford, $99.99
- slip-on for ease of wear.

- has a rocker feel with the buckles.

Frye Erin Oxford, $168.00
- exquisite color, classic structure.
J.Crew Elsbeth Leather Oxfords, $225.00
- a bit more pricey compared to the others, though.
BDG Leather Saddle Shoe, $58.00
And for a little more feminine flair, here's an oxford by Pour La Victoire for Urban Outfitters that's so pretty and dainty, you can wear it with your most floaty, flowy dress.

I love oxfords, too. Heels, though. Too literal and me no likey.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that outfit w/the skirt. Yum!
I freaking love the last pair!
ReplyDeleteyeah I looove oxfords too. Wore saddle shoes all through childhood (I did not go to catholic school, my mom just liked me in them, I guess), and in high school I had a pair of low heeled cordovan oxfords, and a pair of jcrew brown/black women's oxford/saddle shoes, both of which I got rid of after freshman year of college because I thought they were too dorky. Now JC has a similar shoe back and it's expensive! I do like those Aldo's, I may have to get a pair...
ReplyDeletetastymoog, I'm so with you about that price tag on the J.Crew pair. Hoo-ey! Totally cannot purchase that full price!
