Sophie Blackall.

I just discovered a wonderful illustrator
via Auburn & Ivory, Sophie Blackall.

Her exquisite illustrations remind of the pictures in the books
I loved to read when I was a child.

Although she may illustrate primarily for children's books,

she's fearless, but remaining very poignant at the same time,

of showing the real side of life through her art

- as shown in the picture below entitled, "Divorce".
